Today we’re featuring a lovely couple we had the honor of working with: Megan and Pedro! They got married at Howey Mansion in April on a refreshing, crisp spring day.
Of course, we always have to start by showing off the details that 28 North Photography beautifully photographed! We love their neutral color palette with pops of turquoise that complemented the season and venue perfectly. We say they achieved their boho, minimalist, and romantic dreams flawlessly.
28 North Photography also captured some sweet, fun pictures of the bridal party getting ready. We are loving their matching outfits!
Then, it was off to the wedding. Megan and Pedro knew the ceremony was going to be the most important moment for them, so Deidre, their planner, worked with them to ensure their guests and family felt involved and valued.
After the wedding, the couple said they never felt so much love between each other and everyone around them. It was human, intimate, and most importantly, so them!
Then, it came time for everyone to gather together for some absolutely stunning photos!
Megan and Pedro said they were originally supposed to get married in Canada, but with COVID, that proved to be impossible. Howey Mansion felt like the perfect venue to celebrate because it resembled their original vision the most. The history and natural beauty of the venue made them fall in love.
Then, it was time for the reception! We want to thank Arthur’s catering for providing the delicious meals, In Bloom Florists for the gorgeous boho floral arrangements, and Sweet By Holly for the desserts!
The reception was magical — starting with speeches, then cake cutting, and of course, the iconic dances shared between the family.
After these heartwarming traditions, it was time to dance! Thank you to DJ Rey for bringing the good vibes all night long.
We usually suggest to our couples that they have a moment alone after the wedding is over in the reception room because you can often get swept away by the socializing aspect and celebrating with all your family and friends. This is a great way to soak up the day together, as newlyweds, and share the abundance of love that’s felt from the day. And that’s exactly what Megan and Pedro did!
We ended the night with a sparkler sendoff, which is always a fun way to end the night! We wish the couple so many more years of happiness, love, and laughter!
