We are so excited to share Sara and Roger’s summer wedding at St. James Catholic Cathedral and the Interlachen Country Club! The couple imagined having a romantic, elegant, and vintage wedding — and we believe the photos show for themselves that this vision was definitely achieved!
As always, we want to take a moment to highlight all the detail shots that our photographer for the day, Kristen Weaver Photography, captured! The color palette and all the small details are giving us modern fairytale princess vibes — perfect for Sara and Roger, who were such sweethearts to work with!
We also can’t skip over these gorgeous getting-ready shots as well as photos with their wedding parties! A huge thank you to our talented hair and makeup artists, LeJeune Artistry, Natalie Ruiz Artistry, and The Glow Up by Sally for enhancing everyone’s natural beauty!
Before we headed to St. James Cathedral for the ceremony, Sara and Roger wanted to do a first look with not just each other but also with their wedding party. And we are here for it!
After that, we headed over to St. James Cathedral for the ceremony. It’s been Sara’s dream since she was young to get married at the church. The couple loves the stained glass windows and the stunning paintings on the walls and ceilings. It was a dream come true for them! In fact, Sara and Roger said their favorite part about their wedding was seeing each other when Sara walked down the aisle in St. James.
While the ceremony was taking place, our amazing vendors were hard at work putting together the reception at Interlachen Country Club! Lana Fairbanks Florist provided all the flowers, Lettering by Lee Ann created the beautiful welcome signage and guest seating, Get Lit Productions set up the gorgeous lighting, and iRent Everything and RW Brands helped us with all the furniture rentals!
When Sara, Roger, and all their guests arrived at Interlachen Country Club, the area was set up so everyone could enjoy the celebration right away! We kicked things off in the best way possible with the couples’ first dance as husband and wife as well as some heartfelt speeches from their loved ones.
Next up, Sara changed into an elegant dress with a fun, giant bow to really get the party started! But right before that, we had the cake cutting ceremony with a cake provided by Scotchie’s Custom Cakes.
Then it was time to get our groove on! Thank you to Bay Kings Band for providing the music all night long!
We’re honored that Sara and Roger said their biggest tip was to hire a planner to make sure the day went as smoothly as it did for them. So here’s a big thank you to Blush planner, Deirdre Parks, for working with the couple to manage their big day! We wish Sara and Roger so many more years of happiness and love.
