We’re thrilled to share Lauren and Zach’s wedding at the Alfond Inn in Winter Park! The weather was immaculate this day — we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect forecast for their modern, tropical wedding!
First, getting ready! To match the elegant theme of the wedding, LeJeune did what they do best and created a beautiful, natural, and stunning look for Lauren. We also love the subtle personalized details Zach included in his look, like his fun cufflinks that pay homage to his alma mater.
We’re so glad our long-time friend and vendor, Nate Puhr, was there to capture the moments before the wedding, too! The black-and-white grainy images are giving us old Hollywood glam vibes. And of course, we’re suckers for the detail shots complete with the couple’s invitations and rings.
One of Lauren and Zach’s favorite parts of the wedding was the first look because they got to enjoy a few moments with just the two of them.
After the first look, we moved to the Conservatory Lawn for cocktail hour since our ceremony wasn’t until sundown! It was important to Lauren and Zach to have fun celebrating with their closest loved ones, which showed in the details Rachel, their wedding coordinator, helped them plan. The talented Elizabeth Louise also lent her harp skills for some unique cocktail hour entertainment!
After cocktail hour, we headed over to the Alfond Inn’s Conservatory for the ceremony. It was a beautiful ceremony that integrated their culture and heritage.
Thank you to Flowers by Lesley for providing the aisle flowers, bouquets, boutonnieres, and chuppah! The tropical orchids, moss, dendrobium, monstera leaves, and phalaenopsis set the tone for their tropical ceremony.
After the reception, we moved to The Alfond Inn’s Park Avenue Ballroom for the reception! Catering was provided by Alfond Inn and a beautiful four-tier cake by Sugar Sugar Custom Cake Boutique. We love the coordination between all the elements with the florals to keep the theme very consistent throughout.
When asked about why the couple chose The Alfond Inn, they both agreed that the venue was run by an incredible staff. They also thought getting married in a hotel would be a great way to spend the whole weekend with their friends and family. The Alfond Inn didn’t disappoint!
We wish Lauren and Zach so many more years of love and joy!
