Aerophile, Disney Springs’ hot air balloon experience, is a perfect option for all the more adventurous couples out there. Since the basket of the hot air balloon can hold up to 29 people, you could even sneak a photographer and videographer on with you to capture the moment.

You may recognize The Wheel at ICON Park as The Orlando Eye, which is what it was formally known by. ICON Park is an entertainment complex, so this is great for any couple who loves to go out into the hustle and bustle of the city and have fun together. With more than 40 shops, bars, restaurants, and even amusement park rides, there are plenty of ways to celebrate after your proposal!

The Wheel gives you an incredible view of Orlando, including nature reserves, lakes, Walt Disney World, and Universal Orlando. Similar to the Disney Springs hot air balloon, the private capsule can hold up to 16 people, so you could sneak a photographer and videographer in, posing as guests, to capture the moment. If you know that could make your partner feel a little uncomfortable, you could request to ride the capsule with just you two, so you can share a beautiful and private moment, and take photos once you land again.

For a truly magical proposal in Orlando (and for any huge Disney fans out there), Cinderella’s Castle at Disney World is a no-brainer spot. It’s a 189-foot ornate landmark that offers a truly dazzling scene for your proposal. Plus, after the proposal, you can celebrate by going on rides and exploring the rest of the park! 

Or, if you want to go all out on the fairytale theme, you can enjoy a meal together at Cinderella’s Royal Table! To get there, you climb an enchanting spiral staircase to what looks like the Grand Hall of a real castle. As you eat dinner, you’ll be surrounded by stained glass windows and stone archways — it’s truly a dinner like no other. Just be sure to make a reservation!

We can’t think of much else that’s more thrilling and surprising than an escape room proposal. The great thing about escape rooms is that you can pick one that fits your partner’s preferences and choose one where it’s just you two in the room together or one that allows a group of people for your friends and family to tag along.

One important thing we feel we should note is that it can be really tempting to plan a proposal down to the very last second. However, since it’s an escape room and full of surprises in its nature, we recommend feeling it out and waiting for the right moment to go down on one knee. If you’re struggling to plan, you could also recruit the escape room host to help you out by giving you a bit more time at the end to do the proposal!

For the more low-key but romantic couple, Leu Gardens in Downtown Orland is a 50-acre ‘botanical oasis’ is your spot. The garden boasts over 40 garden collections from a tropical rainforest to a formal rose garden to a butterfly garden, and more. The best part about Leu Gardens is that it’s beautiful any time of year. In the spring, you’ll walk among thousands of colorful flowers and in winter, you’ll be surrounded by festive lights.

The garden is very well maintained, and it’s a hot spot for weddings because of the natural beauty and variety. We highly suggest you hire a photographer to photograph the moment since there are so many great areas that are really gorgeous and romantic.

We love Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando because of the variety of activities it has. If you simply want to walk around the lake and enjoy the view of Orlando’s skyline (sunset is breathtaking), you can do that on their near-one-mile track that circles the lake. Or, for a bit more adventure, you can rent swan-shaped paddle boats. There are also plenty of local restaurants, so you can celebrate with a meal after your proposal!
