On October 2nd, Kevin and Kelly tied the knot at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club. Kevin and Kelly were such a fun couple and our team was ecstatic to help them plan their special day!

Kevin and Kelly were friends in high school who reconnected years later before dating.

After six years of dating, Kevin surprised Kelly with the proposal of a lifetime!

Kevin proposed at the end of an escape room. He planned the whole event as a surprise with the couples closest friends and the last clue was the key code to escape, which sat on top of a ring box… THE ring box.

Kelly is extremely competitive so she did not see the box and ran to the door to open it and win the game.

Confused by the reaction of their friends about the empty ring box, Kelly turned around to find Kevin on his knee!

Once Kevin popped the question it was time to begin planning the wedding of their dreams!

When it came to selecting their venue, Lake Nona was the perfect choice!

Kevin loves Golf so the golf course was a perfect setting. Lake Nona is beautiful in itself as well, the old trees and the lake scenery was exactly what Kelly was looking for!

Kelly said “YES” to the perfect dress at The Collection Bridal in Winter Park. The designer was Martina Liana.

We asked Kelly when it came to planning her wedding, what was most important? Here was her answer:

“It was important that the day was going to be fun, memorable and not stressful. I can be very anxious and stress a LOT so it was critical to have a team that was supportive and helped with any problem solving. Rachel and Brandee definitely helped make sure the day was planned perfectly and flowed flawlessly!”

Kelly described her wedding as whimsical Elegance with white florals, hints of dusty blue and blush throughout the decor.

We asked Kelly what the best part of your wedding day was. Here is what she had to say:

“It’s hard to pick a “best part” because the day was absolutely perfect. We were ahead of schedule the entire day so we were able to be very relaxed! I LOVED that we were able to join cocktail hour and eat dinner. All of our friends swore we wouldn’t be able to do either and I’m so happy we could!!”

If you could provide a tip to another couple planning their wedding, what would it be?

Here is Kelly’s advice for couples planning their wedding:

“Definitely book a planner who is there with you from the beginning so you can share your vision and they can make it come to life. Don’t stress the small stuff, remember that the day is about you and your fiance. Do what you want to if it is going to make YOU happy, even if it may be non-traditional.”
