Selecting your wedding cake is one of the sweetest moments during the wedding planning process. Whether you already have a vision in mind and know what flavors suite your taste buds, we always recommend setting up a cake tasting with your baker.
Cake Tasting: You’ll get to spend an hour or so trying cake, combining cake flavors and different frosting to create your perfect cake, and then you get to eat this creating again at your wedding. How sweet is this? Blush Tip: We suggest scheduling your cake tasting with your baker around the six month out timeframe
Whether you want a small one-two tier cake or multiple tiers, your wedding cake is a detail that deserves attention!
How your cake looks is just as important as taste—you’ve got to think about flavors, fillings, frosting, colors and if you want to add a cake topper!
If you’re not sure where to even begin, talk to your Blush Planner and we can guide you in the best direction!

If you want to go above and beyond for your guests and aren’t crazy about the traditional tiered wedding cakes that are so often cut and served at weddings, you might want to consider individual wedding cakes.
For Leigh Anne and Tim’s wedding at Dr Phillips performing Arts Center, they opted for these exquisite mini cakes served to guests post dinner.
These beauties were truly the perfect touch! Leigh Anne and Tim also didn’t desire to hold a cake cutting formality at their wedding so this was a wonderful alternative.
