On May 11, 2024, Megan and Alex tied the knot with the garden-style wedding of their dreams. Hosted at the Cypress Grove Estate House in Orlando, Florida, and surrounded by their family, friends, and their beloved dog, Miller—in spirit, at least- their celebration was everything they had imagined!
Their Love Story
Megan and Alex’s story began at Clemson University when their fraternity and sorority were paired together for a homecoming float project. Years later, after building a life together in Charlotte, Alex proposed in their newly purchased home with their dog Miller by his side.
A Garden-Style Wedding Vision
Alex and Megan made the most of the beauty of nature for their outdoor wedding, creating a magical atmosphere with lush floral arrangements, soft greenery, pastel colors, and romantic lighting. Twinkle lights and candles added warmth, while custom details like personalized decks of cards at each seat (a nod to their love of games) and a figurine of their dog Miller on the cake made the celebration their own.
Cypress Grove Estate House was perfect for the occasion, with its gazebo for the wedding ceremony, the amphitheater for cocktails and dancing, and the outdoor space on the grand lawn for the wedding reception. The natural beauty of the event spaces was lovely, making it the perfect garden wedding venue for them!

A Garden-Style Wedding Day to Remember
