“No matter what life throws at us, we’re going to make great memories together”
-Colleen Hoover
“I didn’t date a lot, most people annoyed me too quickly to get into a relationship. Somehow Connor slipped through the cracks! Since then I wake up everyday and thank God for my undeserved Blessing.” Words from the blushing Bride, Caroline, when asked about dating. And as for the dashing Groom, Connor felt so lucky to start dating his best friend so many years ago. When it came to spending his forever with someone, that someone was without a doubt, his Caroline.
When it came to planning their wedding, Caroline & Connor shared a passion for the great outdoors, they fell in love with the Giant Oak tree at Arundel Estates, set among beautiful acres in Sorrento Florida. The Venue is set on a stunning southern estate that perfectly frames the sunset. The couple also shared a love for Barbecue food so they incorporate 4Rivers Smokehouse catering, which as locals will tell you, is some of the BEST BBQ and homestyle Southern Cooking you can find in Central Florida. Up until a week prior to the wedding we had the entire wedding planned for a love filled 12 hour day, including a lavish Ceremony, Cocktail hour, and reception. All with 11 various vendors, and 159 eager guests & their table assignments…
Then came along COVID-19. A typical thing you don’t plan for when planning a wedding is an uprising pandemic. The week of the wedding, the couple and family could no longer go through with the wedding as planned, and chose to hold a very intimate ceremony with bridal party and immediate family. With this rapid change we wanted Caroline & Connor to have the Ceremony they have been planning for and envisioned. We made sure to include every vendor that we could for this intimate wedding. This beacon of light shone bright during a dark time. For a day we forget the troubles of the world, and just revel in the passion and love that Caroline and Connor have for one another.
The ceremony took place under that breathtaking Giant Oak Tree, with Church Pews, a beautiful aisle Runner, and a String Quartet. Caroline, looking radiant, walked down the aisle in an elegant satin ball gown wedding dress with a rhinestone belt paired with a flowing veil and loosely curled hair. Connor stood beaming at the end of the aisle waiting for his beautiful bride in a grey suit, white tie, and White Cala Lily boutonnière. The beautiful couple shared their vows and said their “I dos” with their immediate family and bridal party by their side. There were birds chirping, a whimsical breeze, and with a look up into the dazzling blue Florida sky, we all knew today was meant to be.
Following the Ceremony, the couple enjoyed a Celebration Hour at the Terrace, with Champagne, 4Rivers Appetizers, and their wedding Cake. We even made sure the couple could have their first dance on their Wedding Day!
As long time friends they developed into best friends, and on this day, as husband and wife they will carry that unbreakable relationship for eternity. Connor & Caroline shared the MOST elegant and intimate wedding, at its Finest.
