Owners Les and Wendy Kopasz lead a team of amazingly talented DJ/emcees. Wendy keeps everyone organized…she is available to brides (and grooms of course!) for questions, music advice, etc… She handles all of the paperwork, day to day office and is generally the person you’ll talk to when you call. What makes this different from many DJs is that there is always a professional and knowledgable person you can talk to that knows your event and can give you accurate advice regarding your big day.
Les is one of the best there is when it comes to DJ/emcee for your wedding. He “gets” weddings and understands flow. This is so important in looking for the perfect DJ for your wedding. You can find a fabulous DJ that does clubs, restaurants, etc… but weddings are a different type of event and they require a DJ that understands the uniqueness involved to ensure your event flows perfectly. Your DJ can truly make or break your event so be sure that they understand your vision for your reception and they are excited to make it come to life. You don’t want a DJ who is going to take over and create a “rave” or “club” if that’s not your style.
Soundwave is one of the few entertainment companies in town who lets you meet your DJ at the time of your consultation. When you book your initial meeting with Soundwave, you will be scheduled to meet with the DJ who will be working your event….Paul, Phil, James, Ray, Vinny or Les. It is imperative that you get to meet your DJ at your consultation, talk to them, get to know their style, see if your personalities gel. They will set the tone for your entire reception so be sure it’s someone you love!
